Have Questions Regarding Pheromones?

What are pheromones?

These are chemical signs secreted by an animal that influences the behavior of other members of the same species. There are many types of pheromones, the most well known being the sex pheromones. These act as natural sex attractants that influence the mating habits of the opposite sex of the same species.  Pheromones are largely produced by the skin's apocrine sebaceous glands, which develop during adolescence and are usually associated with sweat glands

What are VNOs?

The Vomeronasal Organ (VNO) are 2 sensory organs in the nose but work independently of the part used to detect regular scents and smells. The VNO senses the pheromones that are traveling through the air and stimulates the hypothalamus found in our brains. The hypothalamus is where emotions and our emotional responses are produced. The response comes subconsciously.

Do we give off pheromones naturally?

Humans chemically communicate with each other all the time. Each person has his own "odor print" that's just as unique as fingerprints.  Our bodies naturally produce pheromones.

If we have our own pheromones, why do we need a pheromone cologne?

There are 3 main reasons for using a pheromone cologne. 1) Our bodies produce pheromones but not in sufficient quantities to elicit attraction from our desired partners. 2) Take a look at your daily habits-shower, deodorant, aftershave, lotions. These are some of the hygiene products that we use everyday that inadvertently mask our true body chemistry.  3) when we dress we cover 90 % of the skin’s surface area, reducing the amount of pheromones released into the air.

Another Pheromone Frequently Ask Question Is How long do they last?

Pheromones last longer than the regular cologne but gets washed away or breaks down faster when applied directly to the body.  The actual breakdown time depends on the body temperature, sweating and body chemistry. This may also depend on the product used.

How and where do I apply pheromones?

You can apply the pheromone cologne directly to the usual perfume spots - wrists, behind the ears, throat, and chest. However, when pheromones are applied to the skin gets washed away by sweat and broken down by bacteria. Apply the cologne to your clothing if you want the “scent” to remain longer. Keep in mind that it might take several washings for it to come off completely.

What kind of expectations can I have?

What results should I expect with a pheromone cologne?  The results vary per person. Some people see instant results while for some, it takes time before the effects are felt. Users have reported having more eye contact and smiles from members of the opposite sex and increased self-confidence.
